My introduction to the design world began at the age of nine, working alongside my grandmother in her workroom creating custom drapery. At the time, I had no idea how profoundly that experience would shape my future. After spending 13 years in the corporate world, I realized I wanted a career that was both fulfilling and aligned with my passion for creativity. Taking a leap of faith, I founded Henson's Designs 18 years ago—and it remains one of the best decisions I've ever made.

Known as a natural people-pleaser with a keen eye for detail, Ivy excels at guiding clients through every stage of the design process-turning inspiration into beautifully executed spaces. Her ability to balance

I was first introduced to the window treatment industry at the age of nine, accompanying my parents on blind installations. At the time, I could not have imagined where that early exposure would lead nearly two decades later. As a single mother of three boys, I knew I wanted to create a better future for my family. With that motivation, I took a leap of faith and fully committed myself to the window treatment and design industry—a decision that has proven to be both purposeful and rewarding

Henson's Designs is located in beautiful Katy, Texas but we hope you'll consider us for your window covering needs in the Greater Houston and surrounding areas too. Owner Jana Henson have lived in Katy for more than 30 years, having built three homes in the greater Katy, TX area. Jana has always had a passion for decorating and decided that she would make a career of it by helping other families decorating, window coverings, shutters and blinds. Jana Henson is always looking for ways to save families money while offering them amazing service. Buying your blinds and shutters without this personal touch can cause you to spend thousands more than you have to.
